Chef

How many of us have heard the lament that, even though we’re in Malaysia, it’s actually difficult to find gourmet-level Malay food? Many say that it’s easier to find exceptional Italian or Chinese than the indigenous cuisine that helped make this country famous. But where do we find the rendang that should be prolific in Malaysia’s best kitchens, and where are the coconut infused recipes that make a Malaysian’s mouth water in anticipation?

Luckily a small and dedicated eatery named Enak has set out to set the record straight by being a Malay kitchen of the highest quality. Based on family recipes that have been handed down through generations, Enak is a place where the relaxed, windy style of old Malaysia meets exciting creations served from their creative kitchen. Located at the convenient Starhill’s Feast Village, Enak is a welcome addition to the dining map of Kuala Lumpur.
