On the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur’s bustling metropolis is a Contemporary French restaurant with a deliberately understated exterior and an intimately pristine interior which has put itself firmly on the Malaysian foodie’s map. Having opened at the tail end of 2014, the TTDI establishment is one of the youngest restaurants in this year’s Festival, but has already gained a cult-like following in the city.
On the restaurant’s ground floor level sits a comfortable waiting area with a lengthy zig-zagged table at its centre, while upstairs is a homely dining area adorned with wooden floors and wall fittings. With only the slightest peek into the kitchen through a narrow window, diners can catch glimpses of the Chef and his team whipping up their delicately-presented dishes before they burst onto the table.
