Its circular layout gives the space a sense of fluidity, accentuated by the sheer curtains and glass centrepiece complete with glass beads flowing down from the ceiling. Two freshly cut long-stemmed red roses are placed in a vase on each table, bringing out the deep reds and greens in the upholstery. There’s a romantic peace and calm to the restaurant, making it the perfect place for a private dinner for two, where you can gaze into each other’s eyes all night long.
Chef Jean Philippe has been with Lafite for two years, serving up his repertoire of classic French dishes. For his festival menu this year, he is spoiling diners with only his best signature dishes.
