If you’re looking for a spot of Chinese fine dining in KL, Dynasty is your go-to place. Chef Kok and his team serve up only the best in Cantonese and Szechuan fare as well as award-winning dim sum.
The restaurant is steeped in rich Chinese heritage, from the luminous lantern shaped fixtures to the warm wooden panelling. Fine bone china rests delicately on characteristic round tables and in the perfect colour contrast, a red feature wall showcases blue porcelain vases. Three private rooms are aptly named Happiness, Prosperity and Longevity, capable of fitting 12 and also able to open up to create one large room. Indeed, everything about Dynasty serves to ensure that you can dine as only an emperor would.
Though the restaurant has been with MIGF since the beginning (that’s 15 years!), it manages to keep things fresh every time. This time around, Chef Kok is injecting a little individualistic Westernism into the preparation of his dishes, which includes a poached cod fillet and tricolor noodles.
