Chef Pradeek Kumar

Born and raised in Homagama, a small town close to Colombo, Sri Lanka, Chef Pradeep has come a long way from humble beginnings to being dubbed the 'The King of Appam' here in Malaysia. He has mastered the difficult and delicate art of making the much-loved appam from his mother who was relentless in creating the perfect example, equal parts creamy, crispy and round.

Chef Pradeek cooks up a storm of authentic Sri Lankan dishes, mingling a heady mix of spices and herbs into bold and adventurous dishes. His skill, as such, has brought him into the kitchens of prominent Sri Lankan businessmen and politicians as their personal chef.
